Lunch Time
Written by MrChill
First, I'm spreading the word about a lunch spot most ppl pass by - Scoozi on Newbury. Awesome panini's. Enough said.
Second, if you haven't been to Parish on Boylston, go throw up everything you just ate and cab it there right now. The concept behind the cafe is this: The owner went around to all the best, award winning chefs in New England and asked them to create an original sandwich - fuckin genius. Take all the best culinary talent around Boston, throw it into an upscale, yuppie cafe, and charge $12.95 a sandwich. But you know what, you can't beat it, I"ll gladly pay the premium. It's like a department store for unreal sandwiches. And they got a bar, so if you're like me, you're ordering a Sam Winter with "The Nebo": Created by: The Pallotta Sisters, Executive Chefs - Nebo, Boston: Italian tuna on a crunchy baguette with olive oil tapenade, Mediterranean aioli, lettuce, tomato, sliced hard boiled eggs, fresh basil and red onions. Served with a string bean-tomato salad.
